Pinckney Community High School, Pinckney, MI
- Taught Freshman English 9A/9B, Sophomore English 10C, USA Literature, Creative Writing, Independent Study for College-Bound Seniors, and Humanities.
- Advisor for Class of 2003 (hosted one Prom).
- Advisor for PALS (mentoring program for at-risk elementary students) 2000-01.
- Counselor at PCHS Camp Skyline (a three day communications retreat) 2000-02.
- Wrote the Creative Writing curriculum for district.
- Founded Now Is Forever: a muse-paper, a literary and visual arts magazine for students.
- Emphasis was placed on assimilated and efficacious learning, personal responsibility, and self-discovery.
- Responsibilities included preparing and implementing curricula, maintaining contact with parents, collaborating with Writing Across the Curriculum, and planning educational field trips.
